The Process
After collaborating and coming up with the perfect concept we create a CAD drawing. This will be a 2D or 3D image of your one of a kind piece. Once we receive your approval we will move on to grow a wax.
In this process, a wax model is grown to be used to create your piece of jewelry. This wax model, is first weighed so the amount of metal required to fill the mold (gold, silver, etc.) can be determined. You will get to see the wax to get an idea of the piece will look like. Once we receive your approval we will move on to cast your piece.
We cast using the lost wax method. In this method the molten metal is poured into a mold that was created using the wax model. Once the mold is made, the wax model is melted and drained away. Once the piece is cast, we will set the stones, and add the finishing touches.
